As a coach, I will…
- Listen deeply to you
- Ask powerful and insightful questions
- Assist you in problem solving and thinking
creatively
- Guide you to build practices that reinforce
learning
- Support you in your desired outcomes
The first step is a free coaching consultation
session where I demonstrate coaching with you and answer your
questions. If coaching is right for you, we schedule a 1.5 hour intake session where information is gathered and core
issues discussed. A coaching agreement is completed and regular
coaching sessions begin. We will develop a coaching program
that includes practices and readings that
complement our sessions.
There are several options for how often we
meet, depending upon your learning style and time schedule.
Options include weekly one hour sessions or every
other week. Coaching sessions may be conducted over
the telephone or in person. The initial coaching agreement is
generally for at least three months, the minimum amount of time needed
to incorporate new learning. Please call to discuss coaching
fees.
I am also available for individual coaching
sessions if you want to try out coaching or if you want to work
on a particular short-term question or program.
I work with clients from around the country via telephone and Skype. I also work with clients in person in Louisiana and on an occasional basis in other states.
My clients describe me as caring, compassionate, a great listener, and able to get to the heart of an issue. I ask sometimes surprising questions that enable you to look at yourself in ways that you have not previously. I will share a blind spot with you that you have not been able to see for yourself. I bring my own rich history and experiences to bear on our coaching to give you ideas and perspectives that you would not be able to come up with on your own. I bring together business smarts and nonprofit soul.
